   here is a short list….
   one for each of these neighborhoods
   Mount Pleasant: The Raven
   Columbia Heights: (NEW*) Wonderland Ballroom
   Adams Morgan: Dan’s Cafe
   Capitol Hill: Tune Inn

   TOP BIKE SHOPS IN DC….
   Okay I am a tad BIASED
   as I use to work at BIG WHEEL BIKES and I am currently associated with CITY BIKES
   but I am still a consumer
   so I think this may be a good chance for someone else to do a review

   #1 City Bikes (Chevy Chase Location is superior to Adams Morgan) Easy to park. Good location for test riding. MEGA helpful staff and great selection

   #2 Revolution (Georgetown over Clarendon; only because you can price shop with other bike stores in G-town) Very helpful staff, good selection, crappy parking

   #? The Bicycle Pro Shop (Georgetown) Well, this use to be my favorite shop, not sure what to say right now about it…maybe a good shop for the roadie

   #? Big Wheel Bikes: There are several locations…this shop pretty much says the basic…A shop is only as good as its employees, which means that there are times where the service is good and other times where it will really SUCK! But, they do a lot of last year’s model stuff so if you do some background checks on what you are buying you might find a deal

   what other shops are there in DC?
   not sure
   guess that is why I do not run a review page

   gwadzilla,

   Wow! Washington DC is “ma hood”, and so I usually take some pride in knowning that any given list of dive bars, I’ll know at least one or two of them.

   But in your list, NONE! Wow. Well, let’s do somes reviews!

   I’m going to contact you off list, because I’m hopin’ you’d be willing to come with me and check out one of these place.

   I would like to discuss this and the bike list further, look for my email.
